Confederation of All India Traders (CAT) has called a national conference of prominent business leaders from different states of the country in New Delhi tomorrow, in which a decision will be taken on stopping the import-export trade of all goods by traders with Turkey and Azerbaijan due to their support to Pakistan. CAT says that there is no question of doing business with anyone who is against the country. This is the time for the traders of the country to display their patriotism. Along with the entire country, traders are also standing united under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the conference, big decisions will also be taken to organize Tiranga Yatra across the country to express gratitude towards the valor and valor of the Indian Army and against the usurpation of India's trade by e-commerce companies.
Traders will not do business with Türkiye and Azerbaijan
CAT National General Secretary and MP from Chandni Chowk, Delhi, Praveen Khandelwal said that according to the available information, between April 2024 and February 2025, India's exports from Turkey were US $ 5.2 billion, while in 2023-24 this figure was US $ 6.65 billion, while India's imports from Turkey during the same period were US $ 2.84 billion, which was US $ 3.78 billion in 2023-24. Similarly, India's exports to Azerbaijan during the same period were only US $ 86.07 million, while in 2023-24 it was US $ 89.67 million. On the other hand, India's imports from Azerbaijan during the same period were only US $ 1.93 million, which was US $ 0.74 million in 2023-24.

CAT National President BC Bhartiya said that India exports many major commodities including refined petroleum, motor vehicles and parts, steel, chemicals, medicines, precious stones and textiles to Turkey, while crude petroleum, machinery, marble, gold, fruits, plastic and textiles are imported from Turkey to India. India exports tobacco, electronics, machinery, medicines, ceramic products, grains etc. to Azerbaijan, while major mineral oil, chemicals, raw hides, aluminum and cotton etc. are imported from Azerbaijan to India.
